Plan Ahead for the Journey

East Families,

We are excited to begin another wonderful year of learning and growing together! Attached is a simplified version of the 26-27 school calendar to help your family plan ahead.

To make the calendar easier to use, look for:
• Early Release Days for days students will dismiss early- 12:20
• School Holidays when students will not attend
• Staff Development Days when there is no school for students
• Important Breaks such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break

At East Elementary, we believe Learning is a Journey, and every school day is an important stop along the way. Regular attendance helps students stay connected to classroom learning, build strong routines, and continue making progress toward their goals.

We know family time and vacations are important, too! Whenever possible, please plan trips and appointments during scheduled school holidays and breaks so students do not miss valuable instruction.
